She married for the first time with Waqar Wahidi in 1999, and they have three children one daughter Eeman Wahidi and two sons Shafey Wahidi and Faiz Wahidi. 

They got divorced in 2012, and she again got married her cousin Adnan Lodhi in 2015 who is a businessman by profession. After her marriage, she moved to South Africa with her husband and three children. Adnan is taking care of the children of her, and they are leading a happily married life.

After completing studies, Shaista Lodhi joined showbiz industry as a host in 2001. Started her career with a morning show is Good Morning Pakistan in which she appeared as a host on ARY Digital. In the same year, she left this show and joined Geo TV as a host, and there is also she hosted a morning show Utho Jago Pakistan. Her show was banned because of blasphemy in the show, and she left Pakistan because of security reasons In 2014. 

After some time she came back to Pakistan and continued her hosting career with the show Sitaray Ki Subha on Hum Sitaray. After that, she hosted another TV shows Mehmaan Nawaz on Urdu 1 and Ittehad Ramzan on A Plus Entertainment. Now she is hosting a morning show Geo Subah Pakistan on Geo TV. Shaista won many awards for her hosting talent.

After getting success from hosting She started her acting career with the TV serial Waada in 2016 on ARY Digital. In the next year, she appeared another hit TV serial, Khan. She has done many photo shoots as a model and she has also walked on the ramp for many different fashion designers of Pakistan.
